Aodh Ó Gallchóir

Aodh Ó Gallchóir is from Gort an Choirce in the Donegal Gaeltacht. He attended the National University of Ireland, Galway, where he attained a primary degree in Modern Irish and Geography in 2007 and a master’s degree in Modern Irish in 2008. He also has a Professional Diploma in Education from University College Dublin.

Aodh worked for a number of years as an assistant editor with Conamara based publisher Cló Iar-Chonnacht and with An Gúm, Foras na Gaeilge’s publications and lexicography section, and he was also employed as a translator for the New English-Irish Dictionary. He subsequently taught at post-primary level, before joining Gaelchultúr.

Aodh has been employed as Gaelchultúr’s Specialised Courses Manager since September 2012.
