Anna’s parents give her a mobile phone for her birthday, but it isn’t the kind of phone she wants and Anna throws it on the floor, smashing it to pieces. Imagine her astonishment and that of her brother Niko when the broken phone begins to ring!
In April 2003 five writers came together under the patronage of LAF (Literature Across Frontiers). They were locked into a hut in the Pyrenees and ordered to write an exciting story for teenagers, two chapters each. Anna and Niko is the result of their efforts, an international story that will make its readers, both old and young, laugh and cry.
