The new series Scéalta Scéine contains four new short thrillers which are suitable for readers between 8 and 11 years of age. These are lively and fast-paced books which young readers who are building on their reading skills will enjoy. The series is translated to simple, easy-to-understand Irish by Gormfhlaith Ní Thuairisg and Máirín Ní Ghadhra who are both journalists with RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta. These books were originally published in English in the Freestylers Short Thrillers series and were written by Andrew Fusek Peters. The Irish-language editions were pubished by Cló Iar-Chonnacht in association with COGG.
