Aoife Valley wrote and illustrated this book. She was born and raised in Northern Ireland. She studied fine arts in England and in Dublin and spent several years workng in the public arts sector in the North and in Dublin. She has traveled extensively in South America, Australia, and Asia. She wrote Teach an Oighir, her first book for children, in Thailand.
